We've talked the talk, now it's time to walk the walk. I'm letting the blog, newsletter and e-mail do most of the talking and leaving the meetings open for much more DOING!

Food Storage Recipe Monday

Posted by imawheatwatcher on September 13, 2010

I thought that it would be a great use of this blog to post food storage friendly recipes every Monday. I have gotten several comments that people would LOVE more recipes. If you have a recipe that you love and would like to share, please email it to me!

Most Wonderful Deep Dish Brownies

3/4 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Blend together butter, sugar, and vanilla. Add eggs: beat well with whisk. Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Gradually add to egg mixture until well blended. Spread into a greased 8 X 8 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan.

* I am sorry for the lack of pictures lately. I haven’t been feeling too well and can barely get dinner on the table for my family besides making delicious items for the blog. I promise as soon as I feel better, there will be pictures. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Pictures or no pictures doesn’t change the fact that this is quality info. You’re good! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hope you feel better soon. Do you need anything?

  3. Thanks, Launi. I think I am slowly starting to get better. I haven’t been this sick since baby #1.
