Wheat Watchers meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Kathy's house.

We've talked the talk, now it's time to walk the walk. I'm letting the blog, newsletter and e-mail do most of the talking and leaving the meetings open for much more DOING!

Basic First Aid

Posted by imawheatwatcher on August 25, 2010

Thank you, thank you Laurel. You did a fantastic job and everyone that came learned something new.

It would take me pages and pages to re-create what Laurel taught. So instead of boring you with my notes I asked Laurel to send me hers so I can give you a link to them. How cool is that?

ANNOUNCEMENT: There is CERT class starting on September 21st. It lasts 9 weeks and it a FANTASTIC class to take. It will be very useful in an emergency situation. If you want to sign up or have any questions please contact Laurel M.

Suggestions for YOUR 1st Aid Kit:

hand sanitizer
latex gloves
work gloves
hydrogen peroxide
knee pads (for you to use when kneeling next to the ill)
sterile dressing
bottle water
duct tape
cotton balls

I totally need to come to your site more often…there’s a TON of great stuff here! What a lot of work you’ve put into this. Thanks. 🙂

Thanks so much for this. I just printed all three off and I’m sticking them inside the medicine cupboard door. So great!
