    Wheat Watchers meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 7:00 pm at Kathy's house.

Food Storage Recipe Monday

I thought that it would be a great use of this blog to post food storage friendly recipes every Monday. I have gotten several comments that people would LOVE more recipes. If you have a recipe that you love and would like to share, please email it to me!

Cheesy Chicken and Rice Casserole

This is great for leftovers.

1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 tsp onion powder
1 cup cooked rice
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups frozen veggies (any mixture, I used peas and corn)
1 can chicken (or leftover cooked chicken)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Combine all ingredients, except cheese in a bowl. Once combined put in a greased 9X13 pan. Top with cheese and bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
